LAND CLEARING

        Now i want share about my experience before we plant a tree and build a plot, the first thing need to do is land clearing. What is land clearing? land clearing is the process of removing trees, stump, brush, stones and other obstacle from an area as  required to increase the size of the crop producing land base of an existing farm  or to provide land for a new farm operation. After that, the newly cleared land ready for cultivation, including liming.


       My classmates and i did the land clearing on 12 August 2018. First of all, our supervisor and lectures give a briefing to us what to and briefing about land clearing. Before that, the equipment that we use for land clearing is hoe, pongkes, mini tool,wheelbarrow, knife and more. Before i forgot our land got clear by Diploma part 1 student or known as DPIM student. We thank them very much because helping my classmates to clear the land. They already cut the tree and then we proceed for the next process of land clearing.


       I know some people rarely  with this land clearing because of some people already get a clear land. So, here i want to share the the way, method or the process of land clearing. Firstly, for the clearing standing timber, we need to walk down and pile, the uprooting and pile or the cutting and pile method. For clearing clear cut area, we need to grubbing and piling. The grubbing, pilling and turning or the heavy moldboard plow or heavy breaking disc method. For the clearing light growth and ground brush. we grubbing and piling. The rotary or flail mower, the heavy moldboard or breaking disc or the rotary plow method.


      The main reason we did land clearing is to promote the healthy tree and plant growth because numerous trees and plant are all competing for the same place to grow in that will affects their ability to flourish. Next, keep oil in good condition. That's why land clearing will distribute a layer of much on the topsoil. For example, the mulching help to suppress weed and prevent oil erosion.  Beside clearing the place, we can also avoid the prescene of animal.

      So, here i shared with you guys my experience do land clearing with my classmates.

Yeah! we continued again with the maintenance. After we have done with the planting the seed in the tray and removed it on the planting bed we need to took care the plants from any insect or anything that could damaged the baby Zea mays. Once a plantation has been established, the work should not be considered finished. It will be necessary, for example, to protect the plantation against weather, fire, insects and fungi, and animals. A variety of cultural treatments also may be required to meet the purpose of the plantation. So, the first action that we need to do is to remove the weed. The weed always around the the plants grow. That weeds will absorb the nutrient from the plant to grow. That causes the plants will stunted. For your information, sweet corn's leave already eat by some insect. It make the hole of the leaves.
